Recognizing that each individual is created by God, the Archdiocese of Miami is committed to the safety and well-being of its children and vulnerable adults and implements procedures to minimize risk and barriers and to build and foster a culture of safe environment.
Any Adult who is going to be in contact with children, or vulnerable adults, needs to be fingerprinted, have their background check cleared by the Diocese, have Virtus Training by a Diocese Approved Facilitator, open an online account in order to keep their Safety Education updated monthly via a short online bulletin blurb with ONE multiple choice question each month, and sign a Pledge.
St. Gregory’s urges you all to open an online account at virtusonline.org and search for an upcoming training class near you. Registration is available online only. Get yourselves fingerprinted, and please don’t forget to continue your bulletins online or you will not be in compliance.
For any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Ministry Office.
Thanks for helping us to KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE!
